Hi, I'm Angela, a senior at Emma Willard school.
For my signature project, I will be researching the effects of music education and music therapy on child development and bringing it to the community and classrooms near campus.

Throughout the year, I will create my own lesson plans and teach them to children at Hope 7 Community Centre. I hope that with my classes, children can actively engage with music in which they can express themselves and their identities through the creativity and freedom that music and art carry.

A little more about me_
Before I knew how to write my name, I knew the spellings of the sheet music. The notes on the lines read "Every Good Boy Does Fine" and the notes in between the lines read "FACE." Music has largely influenced my childhood, and through those experiences, it has helped me find, explore and shape my identity. 

Through my own experiences with instrumental music, singing and dancing, I hope that I can communicate and share the magical experiences I have with music with my students. Thank you!
